The Iraqi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council (IEIC) is an independent, non-governmental national institution, established to serve as the central reference point for driving innovation and promoting entrepreneurship in Iraq. The Council provides an institutional framework that combines national priorities, government support, and global orientation to build a diversified and sustainable Iraqi economy led by knowledge.

Acting as a national platform, the Council seeks to unify fragmented efforts in innovation and entrepreneurship and transform them into an integrated ecosystem that brings together policymakers, the private sector, universities, diaspora, and entrepreneurs to create real economic value and sustainable jobs.
