The organizational objectives of the Iraqi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council are:
Develop policies and regulations that support the entrepreneurial environment
Designing and updating regulatory frameworks that improve the quality of the business environment and make it easier to launch and grow start-ups.
Support, develop, and grow innovative projects
Providing a comprehensive incubation environment to transform entrepreneurial ideas into successful and sustainable ventures.
Facilitate access to finance, guidance, and support funds
Connecting entrepreneurs with diverse funding sources and providing technical guidance to prepare strong business plans.
Promote a culture of innovation and digital transformation
Spreading a culture of innovation and adopting modern technologies to build a competitive digital economy.
Provide means to build sustainable national and international partnerships
Connecting local efforts with a global network of institutions and expertise to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Support research and development in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship and link them to the labor market
Directing academic research toward practical solutions to market challenges and linking them to real job opportunities.
Participate in regional and international forums and through the institution's branches inside and outside Iraq
Representing Iraq in international entrepreneurship forums and expanding operations through official branches.
Actively contribute to legislation related to entrepreneurship at the national level
Participating in drafting supportive laws for entrepreneurship at the national level.
Work on supporting and establishing business incubators and accelerators
Establishing and operating business incubators and accelerators to support projects at different stages.
Build strategic partnerships and alliances with institutions that support these objectives inside and outside Iraq
Establishing strategic alliances with local and international institutions that serve the Council's vision.
Strengthen the protection of intellectual property
Protecting and enhancing intellectual property rights for innovators and entrepreneurs.
Support the government's orientation towards a diversified and sustainable economy
Supporting the government's vision to build a diversified economy that does not depend solely on oil.
Contribute to promoting innovation and technology
Encouraging technical innovation and spreading the culture of using technology to solve problems.
